DR JANINE PECKHAM
Clinical Psychologist, Founder and Owner
Dr Janine has over 20 years’ experience as a psychologist and over 10 years’ experience as a clinical psychologist. She has a PhD in Psychology, a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology, a Professional Diploma in Applied Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Psychology). Dr Janine is internationally trained in the UK and USA and accredited in a broad range of evidence-based and contemporary treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy for children, adolescents and adults, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing). Dr Janine owns and consults from The Balmain Practice and her other practices in Adelaide, South Australia and Munich, Germany. She is also the resident psychologist for psycho-educational assessments at several international middle and senior schools in Munich, Germany.
Prior to establishing her own psychology practices, Dr Janine worked as a health consultant for KPMG where she specialised in organisational and cultural change. She also worked as a senior psychologist and manager of the psychological trauma team for Davidson Trahaire Corpsych in Sydney.
You’ll find Dr Janine has a relaxed, warm and friendly approach. She is caring and empathetic and provides a professional and safe therapeutic environment for her patients. Dr Janine specialises in anxiety disorders, post-traumatic and acute stress disorders, depression and post-natal depression, adjustment disorders relating to life stages and events, grief and loss, eating disorders, specific phobias, and school-related issues and behavioural problems.
Dr Janine has lived experience with the psychological, emotional and physical effects of cancer treatment and management as a result of her BCRA1 breast cancer diagnosis. This gives her unique shared insight and empathy when providing therapy to patients experiencing similar life events.
Dr Janine is available for individual therapy sessions with adolescents and adults, and psycho-educational assessments for middle and senior school children.

LOUISE GEE
Registered Psychologist
Louise is a registered psychologist with over 10 years’ experience working in both the public and private sector. She holds a Masters in Clinical Psychology, Post Graduate Diploma of Psychology, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Psychology). She is currently undertaking her registrar program as part of the Masters of Clinical Psychology program. Louise is trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT, CBT for Eating Disorders, Family Based Therapy (FBT) for Eating Disorders, Schema Therapy, Circle of Security, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She is also an accredited Trauma-Focused CBT Supervisor.
Louise provides a warm and safe space for her patients to explore issues which impact their mental health and well-being. She works collaboratively with her patients, and seeks to empower individuals to live happier and more fulfilling lives.
Louise has a special interest in perinatal, child and adolescent mental health, trauma and attachment, anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorders, eating disorders, mood disorders, behaviour management and parenting.
Louise is available for individual therapy sessions with children, adolescents, adults, and family therapy sessions.

ELIZABETH HENMAN
Registered Psychologist
Elizabeth (Liz) has over 8 years’ experience as a registered psychologist. She has a Masters Degree in Health Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Psychology). She is trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Informed Practice, and Mindfulness. Liz has experience with a variety of diagnostic assessment and screening tools including depression and anxiety scales and the use of behavioral rating scales for children and adolescents.
Liz has a holistic, strengths-based philosophy of therapy that encompasses all aspects of a person’s life, including their mental health and general well-being. She is dedicated to creating collaborative therapeutic relationships and encouraging and teaching skills to help people build resilience and meaning in their lives. Her current therapeutic approach is based on Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), utilising components of other therapeutic techniques to create an eclectic, individualised experience.
Liz works with patients experiencing anxiety and mood disorders such as generalised anxiety, social anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorders, specific phobias, general life difficulties such as grief and loss, traumatic events, and family relationship difficulties.

ALISON RAMSAY
Registered Psychologist
Alison is a registered psychologist. She has a Masters Degree in Health Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Psychology). Alison uses a range of evidence-based treatment modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing to teach practical skills and flexibility in thinking.
Warm and empathetic, Alison takes a holistic and flexible approach with her patients, assisting them to identify and consider how their life experiences and events contribute to their mental health and physical well-being. She works collaboratively with her patients to help them address presenting issues and also encourages them to embrace perceived imperfections, recognise inner strengths, and create a greater balance within their lives.
Alison works with patients experiencing depression, general anxiety, social anxiety, relationship issues, loss and grief, body image and self-esteem issues, abuse, trauma, self-harm, school and workplace stress, and life changes such as divorce, separation, and changes in family constellations.

EMILY SHAW
Registered Psychologist
Emily is a registered psychologist with a Masters of Clinical Psychology, Post Graduate Diploma of Child and Adolescent Psychology, a Bachelor of Psychology (First Class Honours) and a Post Graduate Diploma and Masters in Counselling. She is currently undertaking her Masters of Clinical Psychology training. Emily has worked as a psychologist and group therapist at a private psychiatric hospital in Sydney where she facilitated group-based Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) programs for the treatment of depression, anxiety, anger, and trauma. Emily is trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Emily uses her knowledge and training in Attachment Theory when working with young children and adolescents as she is a trained Circle of Security facilitator.
Prior to entering the field of psychology, Emily worked as a teacher for over fifteen years in a wide range of school settings in South Australia and London, United Kingdom. She was also a university lecturer where she taught Childhood and Adolescent Development to both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Emily is approachable and caring, relating to her patients with both professionalism and respect. Her aim is to allow all people to reach their full potential, through offering support and guidance.

ASHLEY MOORE

Ashley has a Graduate Diploma Psychological Science (Advanced), a Bachelor of Education Post Graduate Degree (Primary & Secondary) and a Bachelor of Arts Degree (History and Philosophy). He is currently completing his final year of placement towards registration as a psychologist.
Ashley utilises a range of evidence-based and contemporary treatment modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness. He has experience working with adults, adolescents, and children with a variety of presentations including anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem issues, attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD), and ASD. Ashley has a particular interest in men’s mental health with a focus on stay-at -home fathers.
Warm and compassionate, Ashley takes a collaborative approach to therapy by tailoring a treatment plan to specifically address presenting concerns and assist patients to reach their therapeutic goals.
